9 Encouragement Bible verses for moms and women who worry

Read these 9 encouragement Bible Verses to help with your worry and anxiety. If you’re a mom, chances are that worry is your middle name. Sometimes we worry and don’t even realise we’re doing it. Stop! You don’t have to be a woman who worries. Whether you’re an aunt, a new mom, a sister, or a friend to a friend, life will always bring its worries. Jesus himself said,
‘In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
As followers of Jesus, God tells us there is a better way to deal with worry and fear.
Worry- A wasted emotion
When I think about all the situations I have worried myself through, I realise what a wasted emotion worry is. God always brings us through problems, so why do we worry?
Worry is a human condition that we create ourselves. It’s our way of feeling that we are controlling the situation. What we really need to do first is give the worry to God. Let Jesus deal with it. Trust in God, not the worry itself. It’s not always easy, but it is possible through prayer and practice.
A God of Hope
Have you ever come to the end of yourself? That place when you have exhausted all options to the point where you have no choice but to trust in God? It’s a humbling place. Eventually, I am forced to say, “Ok, God, I tried it might way; I give up, I’m exhausted, over to you.” Yet God wants us to give it to him immediately so we don’t end up in that place of anxiety and worry.
I don’t always get it right. I can choose to worry or lean into Jesus and the word of God. I can choose to worry or be comforted by the power of prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit.
When I start to worry, I remind myself of previous experiences and how God has brought me through. We serve a faithful God who wants the best for us—a God of Hope and reassurance. But it’s our choice whether to turn to him or to turn to worry.
Encouragement Bible verses
Bible verses (i.e., God’s word) encourage and remind us of God’s love. He sees us and understands our situation and, ultimately, our worries.
Jesus experienced every human emotion. In the garden of Gethsemane, he literally sweats tears of blood as he prays and prepares himself for his own death.
We serve a God who is not detached from our human existence. He lived both a fully human and a fully God existence. He understands what it means to live in this world with all the problems and the joys.
More than powerful Bible verses

Bible verses are more than powerful. The Bible says about the word of God that;
“…the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of both joints and marrow and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart” Hebrews 4:12
The message version says it this way;
“God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey.”
They contain God’s faithful instruction on how to deal with worry. An encouraging Bible verse can take us from a place of negativity to a place of rest.
